Artsy Thursday - PM class

We started the afternoon reading the Eric Carle book, The Artist Who Painted A Blue Horse. If you haven't read this book, it is based on thinking outside of the box - none of the animals are "painted" in the color you would expect....yellow cow, red crocodile, orange elephant, polka-doted donkey, etc.
We spent most of our art time blowing bubbles - what a popping good time!! Plus, we easel painted outside and made our own unique stencil pictures.

Concentrating. Relaxing. Enjoying.

Look at all of the bubbles!! Love the expression here.

A mound of bubbles - it was touching his mouth.

What do you do with too many bubbles?!

A brown frog
A colorful bird

A lot of fun and silliness going on here.
They called this concoction -
soup.

She painted and painted and started adding lines - just like Eric Carle does in his books.....so cool!!
