taco tuesday

Day #2 We made some quite terrific chicken tacos today. The focus was on eating healthy foods. We sorted food items into healthy foods and not-healthy foods during circle time. By the way, the children were quite the experts when it came to sugary, not-so good for you foods. :) However, it is quite ironic how some children think that french fries are healthy foods...hmm, if only
The fun part about today was making our snack for art - how often do we get to eat our art?!

Chicken tacos:
1 rotisserie chicken (from Sam's - delicious!!!) cut into small pieces, diced tomatoes, sliced olives, shredded cheese, diced avocados, rinsed black beans, taco shells, and salsa.
Put it all together - yumminess!
