bittersweet end of the year

We had a terrific year at school.

The end of the year is always bittersweet. Sad for endings but excited for new beginnings. Children are often excited for a summer break and for those entering Kindergarten, there is even more excitement (and maybe some trepidation).

Here are a few pictures from our last days here at preschool - soaking in all of the "last times".....

building homes for animals in the sand

using wood blocks to build homes for animals

super cool construction here.

hot plates, crayons and wax paper. let the melting begin!

coloring animals

Used every last snap block.
It went all the way over to the computer area.

making colorful coffee filter sun-catchers

coloring with rainbow crayons.

Expect a little hiatus from the blog over the summer since we are not in session.
Happy summer to all!!!

  1. Kid’s are looking too cute while coloring!! I am also going to gift crayons and wax paper to my kid who is in one of best Phoenix pre-k. I am sure he will be gonna enjoy colouring. Already he is excited these days as summer break is started.
