Fire Safety TR

Oh boy, were we busy today. I took quite a few pictures to capture all of the "firefighter play." There was a lot of what we call parallel play going on, which is when children are using the same materials and being in close proximity to other children, but are not interacting or role playing. We had a lot of firefighters putting out fires through out the room! It was so neat to see this group test out the materials and use their imagination!

This guy was making the sound effects
of spraying water!

The infamous firetruck that makes
real siren sounds.

I think she may have rescued the cat.

Testing out the firetruck.

Spraying the teacher with water!

These cuties were hiding from the water
that was being sprayed on them!

Getting the adults involved too.

Figuring out what to do with the rope.

What a cutie!

These teachers were rescued by the gal (far right)
with the headphones on. She took the
rope to them and had them hold on
while she pulled them to safety!
